Monaco Grand Prix
Together with the Indianapolis 500 and the 24 Hour of Le Mans forms the Triple Crown of Motorsport. This year the Monaco Grand Prix took place on 29 May at the Circuit of Monaco, Monaco. This year’s winner was Lewis Hamilton driving a Mercedes F1 W06 Hybrid and made a lap record with the fastest lap time at only 1:17:939 on lap 71. Mercedes won the manufacturer championship with 188 points.
24 Hours of Le Mans
The greatest endurance race, part of the World Endurance Championship, took place in June this year on the Circuit de la Sarthe, in France. It was a great event and other smaller events took place to entertain the fans for the 24 hours, like circus, ferris-wheel and parties. This year’s winners was Porsche Team, represented by Marc Lieb, Romain Dumas and Neel Jani, the drivers of a beautiful Porsche 919 Hybrid.
Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship – Round 23 – Rockingham
Is a touring car racing series held yearly in the United Kingdom. This year it took place on 27-28 August, in Rockingham on Rockingham Motor Speedway. This year’s winner is Team JCT600 with GardX driver Sam Tordoff in his BMW 125i M Sport.
